Daniel Abdon Peterson MAg, Designer and Owner @ HabAdapt Landscape Design
As owner and designer at HabAdapt Landscape Design, Daniel focuses on developing landscapes and designs aimed at long-term sustainability and functionality. His projects range from small court-yard design to larger farm land planning; some projects focus entirely on water mitigation or plant establishment, and other projects are hardscape focused to create outdoor usable spaces for small to large gatherings. Daniel started HabAdapt Landscape Design in 2005 incorporating ecologically sound permaculture design principles into all of his designs. The functional components of sustainable regenerative design mold together beautifully, hence the HabAdapt logo ‘Life, Function, Beauty.’
Daniel received his masters degree in Agriculture in 2003 focusing on ecological restoration and environmental conflict management, his bachelors degree in 1997 in environmental horticulture focusing on landscape design and nursery management. Daniel is a certified permaculture designer, as well as a certified dry stone mason through the DSWA (Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain.) He continues to further his experience and professional growth through various organizations promoting ecologically sound design practices.
